Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer – Shane and Sheryl
February 16, 2011
Sheryl and Shane are getting married in October at Little Cove Noosa! They where up on the weekend from Brisbane to visit some friends, so decided to have an engagement session at the same time.
We did this session at 11am. I try to keep my sessions to the late afternoon as the sun is a lot nicer then. We had to find lots of shade to do the session!
I hope you like the photos Shane and Sheryl! I cant wait til your wedding!
Natalie and Luke Love Shoot {Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer}
February 1, 2011
I photographed this Engagement shoot a while back now! I have been so busy with getting ready for the Cloud Nine Wedding Expo, that I just haven’t had time to blog!
Natalie and Luke are my neighbours! I’m so lucky to live in a street filled with such beautiful people! They are getting married this November at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort and have asked me to photograph their wedding for them!
We almost cancelled the shoot as it was a wet, really windy day! But we headed to the beach and the sun decided to shine! It made for some great dark skies in the back ground!
I am making a guest book for them with their photos from their engagement shoot to make it a bit more personalised for them!
I cant wait to share your wedding Day with you Natalie and Luke. Its going to be a magical day for you both xx
Need some extra cash after Christmas?? {Sunshine Coast Photography}
December 8, 2010
We all know this time of year is tough! So wouldn’t $50 come in handy this time of year?
I’m giving away money! That’s right, money! This is what you have to do to win it…..
Do you know someone who is engaged? Getting married in 2011 or 2012? All you have to do is introduce them to Poetic Images Photography. Get them to send me an email saying that you referred them to me. You also send me and email saying that you referred (their name) to Poetic Images. info@poeticimages.com.au
If they book with me before Dec 31st then you will get $50 cash! Depoisted into your nominated bank account within 5 days of them booking with me!
How easy is that! Another bonus for the Bridal couple is that they will recive 5% of any package they choose!
Here are the terms and conditions of the comp:
1) If you are a Bride yourself and would like to take advantage of this offer you also can nominate your self to get 5% off. However the $50 cash will be a $50 print credit when choosing your wedding photos.
2) Weddings can be located anywhere, but if further than the Sunshine Coast Travel fees will occur.
3) Payment of $50 cash will not be made until the Bride and groom have paid a deposit and contracts have been signed.
4) If you would like to credit the $50 cash towards a sitting fee with Poetic Images then you are more than welcome too!
5) You are able to refer as many couples as you like!
6) Competition closes 31st Dec 2010 at midnight. If deposits and contracts are not signed before that date then the $50 does not apply and 5% off packages does not apply.
7) Only one person can be paid $50 per referral. If 2 people refer the same person then whomever the Bride or Groom states in their email will receive the money. Bride and Groom can only nominate one person.
Good luck and I hope you make back all your Christmas money!!
Jackie and Rob’s Victorian Wedding {Destination Wedding photographer}
November 25, 2010
Rob and Jackie live in Leongatha, a little Dairy farming town in Victoria. My husband originates from there so we have family ties in that area. Rob is the brother of my (Almost) Sister- in – law. When Rob and Jackie where looking for a wedding photographer my SIL suggested me. Jackie later on told me that her first reaction was, Great! a bad photographer! lol She then look at my website and LOVED my work and had to fly me down for their wedding! So it was great for me as well a working holiday! 3 days away from hubby and the kids!
Jackie and Rob got married in Korumburra at Coal Creek historical Village What a photographers dream location!! So many great spots for photos! But unfortunately we didn’t have time to scout them all out as Jackie and Rob wanted to make the most of their Limo they hired and travel an hour away to the beach and take photos at a massive Bridge! Another photographers dream location! I could have stayed there for another 2 hours taking photos! Everybody raves about how green Maleny is, but Maleny has nothing on the Victorian hillside! My photos didn’t need any photo shopping at all to get the blues and greens you see! The images are straight out of the camera!
Jackie and Rob sent me an invite to the wedding, so I was invited to party on with them later on in the night! This allowed me to get som great reception shots as well! I love the photo of Rob about to dive in for the garter! Jackie’s face is priceless!
Thank you so much Jackie and Rob for flying me down to your wedding! I had a great time! I would be more than interested in doing more weddings there in the future if any Victorian people are reading this!
My baby Nephew Levi {Sunshine Coast Newborn and Baby Photographer}
November 24, 2010
I am an Auntie Again! YAY! My sister and bother in law welcomed their second child into the world on the 9th Nov! What a cutie he is as well!!
I had a flat out week last week with travelling to Victoria for a wedding, but I wasn’t going until I got some shots of Levi as I knew by the time I got home he would be just a that little bit older and out of the tiny baby stage!
It took us a while to get these shots and I was planning on getting some naked baby shots. But being a boy Levi loved having his nappy off and took advantage of it! So we decided to keep the nappy on! lol
So Happy!! {Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer}
November 9, 2010
I was very happy last night to get an email from the people at the International Aperture awards to say that I had won Two Bronze awards!!
I entered these awards for a bit of fun and to get feedback on my work from some of the worlds best photographers. I didn’t expect to get any award at all let alone 2! I entered a third photo which hasn’t been judged as yet.
See the full images below.
So I am very happy! It also helps if your clients are so beautiful and photogenic! Thanks guys xx
