Maleny Wedding Photography – Kimberley and Dean
May 11, 2011
What a beautiful day it was on Saturday! Kimberley and Dean where married in Maleny at the Little White wedding Church. Kimberley wore a stunning gown from famous designer Henry Roth
Their reception was held at House of Laurels in Montville
Their ceremony was beautiful and not a dry eye in the church! The way that Kimberley and Dean looked at each other the whole day made my heart sing. They are such a beautiful couple on the outside and on the inside as well!
Enjoy your honeymoon guys and I look forward to catching up when your photos are ready!
Also a big thank you to Teejay from Siena Catholic College who came along with me to help as she is getting some work experience. You will make a great photographer one day Teejay
Saturday was a beautiful day after all the rain that we have had of late. Kylie and Mic live in Brisbane but wanted to get married on Bribie Island as its a favorite spot for them to holiday. Mic is the twin brother of Pete who’s wedding I photographed late last year. So it was lovely to catch up with Pete and his new bride Miranda as well!
Kylie and Mic held their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Pacific Harbour Golf Club Kylie’s Hair and Make up was done by the lovely ladies at Hot Brushes and Music was Rockin u Wild
Kylie and Mic’s reception was stunning! With the lights down, the centre pieces really made for a romantic mood!
I hope you had a wonderful night Kylie and Mic. Enjoy your honey moon and I will be in touch soon! xx
Today I’m grateful for the beautiful sunset for Mic and Kylie’s wedding! What a magical day for them! Back in a few days to post some more from their wedding.
Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography -Grateful Day 13
April 30, 2011
I didn’t get around to posting yesterday as I was watching to Royal wedding with most of the rest of the world. As much as I thought Kate and William looked beautiful and her dress was lovely etc. I thought the whole ceremony was a bit regimented and not very romantic at all. Which makes me grateful today that I am a Wedding Photographer on the Sunshine Coast!
I see lots of weddings and they are so beautiful and meaningful and this brings me great joy to be able to share such a beautiful occasion with loving couples. I find myself getting teary at some of the beautiful words spoken at weddings and I am only the photographer!
I was very happy to hear that Kate and William hired their own private photographer, so they may get romantic shots like the one below! (Can’t wait to see the official pics!)
I love my job and can’t wait to go to another beautiful wedding tomorrow
Maleny Wedding Photography – Rob and Kirsty
April 12, 2011
Rob and Kirsty wanted a very low key wedding with just very close family and friends. They only had about 30 people attend their wedding. Some relatives though from England (where Rob is from) couldn’t make the ceremony, so they Skyped! Isn’t technology great!
The Reception was held at Clios. Where I always love going back to as I had my own wedding reception there many years ago! It was lovley to run into Kym Allen again as the celebrant. Kirsty’s Make up was done by the wonderful team at Kylie Jane Make up
We headed to Maleny for the wedding photos, where we had an awesome sunset over the range. There was no Bridal party, so we had a chance to get lots of photos with just Rob and Kirsty!
Rob and Kirsty are expecting their first baby in September, which is wonderful news! Enjoy your sneak peeks guys and I will be in touch soon!
Well it was a very wet Saturday Morning on the weekend. Tayrn and Brent where set to marry at 10.45 am at Point Cartwright. I called Tayrn that morning to see if we where putting our wet weather plan into action, but at the time the weather seemed like it was going to hold off.
I turned up to Point Cartwright and plan B had to be put into action as it was blowing a gale and there was no shelter! So we all made a quick dart down to La Balsa park where Tayrn and Brent had their wedding under a gazebo.
Tayrn and Brent weren’t afraid to get out into the rain and have a couple of photos done! But we then decided to head back to the reception place to have some more taken in the dry.
Sandy Smales did a wonderful job of Tayrn and Brent’s Service!

Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer- Teagan and Nathan Part 1
February 22, 2011
I have been waiting for this wedding almost as long as Teagan and Nathan! They booked me in 2 years ago when they where first looking for wedding vendors. They where married on Saturday at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club Their Marriage Celebrant was Sandy Smales
We had some photos at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club before heading to Caloundra for some more photos. I have so many photos I want to blog though I will have to do two sections to Teagan and Nathans Wedding!
We had to get a photo of the Bridal party running up the race course! I just loved taking photos of Teagan and Nathan’s Flower girl and page boy. Arnt they so cute??
Be back tomorrow with more photos! The best is yet to come!
Firstly I would like to say how saddened I am about the tragedy that has unfolded in QLD this past few days. It has touched my heart and made me realise how lucky I am to have a healthy family and a happy and safe home to live in. We are very lucky on the Sunshine Coast as we tend to miss all of these disasters. We should all count our blessings! I would also like to say any of my clients who have been hit by the disasters that have occurred and have lost wedding photos or portraits, then please contact me as I will replace them for you for free!
Anyway, back to a happier subject! Miranda and Peter where married last Saturday. My first wedding back for the year! It was looking to be a very wet day, but the rain was kind to us and left when it was time to shoot the Bridal shots!
Miranda and Peter where married up on Mooloolaba Surf Club Terrace, this was also where they held their function later! Their Celebrant was Sandy Smales
I look forward to catching up with Miranda and Peter again in May as I am also photographing Peters twin brothers wedding!
My last wedding for 2010!! I’m looking forward to 2011! Should be the best year yet!
Vicki and Adam decided to go against tradition and have a Wednesday Morning wedding! It was a pretty wet day and they where planning on having their ceremony at Point Perry at Coolum, but decided to move it to the Sandbar at Coolum Surf club where they where also having their reception. The rain stayed away until family photos, then it rained a little then stopped again allowing us to run out side for about 10 minutes to get our beach shots. So the beach shots you see below where done very quickly! We where very lucky as the rain then set in all afternoon!
Celebrant was Stephanie – The Noosa Celebrant Who did a wonderful ceremony and was great to work with!
Wedding Coordinator Cloud Nine Weddings Who always do a fabulous job!
Have a great Honeymoon guys and I will see you when you return!
